The busy life of a resident!

Sorry for the delay. Seems these days are just flying by and I have nooooo time for anything but hanging out with Scott and Violet. I am loving my residency program so far and I'm sure as we get time to explore Denver, we will LOVE it here too. It is crazy to be Dr. Collins to my patients, but also pretty much the coolest thing in the world :).

New on violet. She's very very close to sitting up on her own. Still sleeping through the night. Trying rice cereal with a spoon but just not very good at it yet. Starting to like tummy time now which is a big change!  Here are some photos of our life as of late.

Welcome to DENVER!

Well, we made it! We are all moved in (almost anyways) to our new house in Denver! It is so exciting and crazy to be here! And we are exhausted!!! Our house is adorable (although quite a bit smaller) and the neighborhood is so friendly and welcoming. The dogs love their new fenced yard and Violet could care less I think lol. I start work in just a few weeks and I am excited, but sooooooo sad to leave my baby day in and day out. Speaking of Violet...
She is getting so big! She has rolled over a few times, sleep 9 hours a night, doesn't really like naps, growing like a weed, and stealing our hearts time and time again. Its amazing to me how much my love seems to grow for her every single day. After seeing her next to a newborn baby, I realized how big my little girl is getting. And I think she is teething maybe! She loves chewing on things and is drooling like crazy. She still hates tummy time, even though she is getting better and better at it. She laughs and talks and makes my heart melt.
Scotty goes back to Omaha for 2 weeks to cover work and then is back in Denver. He will be working at a store that is only 10 min away!! Which is a big deal for him considering how much he has had to commute in the past.
We both can't wait to explore Denver in our downtime- go hiking, camping, skiing/snowboarding, etc. It is so refreshing to see the mountains again!
I have soooo many photos from graduation (oh, I'm a DOCTOR now!!!), graduation week, cabo (we went on a week long VACAY to cabo which was AMAZING), etc. So I will start with some and hopefully have time soon to upload again soon!

More pictures soon, I promise!!!
