Life update!
Sorry for the delay. Much like the rest of the world, our lives got a little hectic around the holidays. We had a very good Christmas and New Years. Violet was not very interested on opening presents but she has enjoyed playing with them. Scott and I had our 3 year anniversary- hard to believe that much time has passed by already. All I can say is that I am one lucky lady having such an incredible husband supporting me thru these crazy years.
Work is great for both of us. I am happily off labor and delivery after being there for weeks on end. 105 vaginal deliveries and just over 30 c-sections later, I'm ready for a change. I'm on gyn now which means more time in the operating room and slightly easier hrs- Both of which I appreciate! Still loving my program and my co-residents. And Denver has been great too. You just can't beat sunshine all the time with a mix in a snow here and there with 60 degree days every so often too. Love it! Eileen just came to visit and we ha so much fun. I cannot wait for the day when we live closer together!!
Scott is doing great at target. They want him to go back up for store manager interviews in July, yes again. For some reason passing those interviews in omaha didn't count... Oh well.
Violet is huge. Trying to walk and getting closer every day. She has the best personality- mostly very well behaved with a little bit of sass. Which I love now but I'm sure I will regret saying tht later. She goes down at about 8pm and sleeps til about 8am, if we don't have to take her to daycare. She naps once of twice a day and just loves playing in her crib with her stuff animals. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful little family!! Still wishing I got to see them both more, but residency just doesn't allow that luxury unfortunately. Anywho, I'm writing this from my phone so I apologize in advance for typos!!
