20 weeks came this past Sunday. Time has flown by and for the most part, I have been able to enjoy being pregnant! I hope it stays this way! And a baby bump is slowly appearing! I went shopping for maternity pants today which was a joke. I did end up finding a couple of things, but holy cow there is a lot of ugly crap out there. Why do you have to feel fat and look terrible just because you're pregnant?!?! Seriously though, awful stuff. Luckily, I was able to find some humor in it, rather than becoming totally depressed about this new body. Also, Scott and I were able to find a rocking chair and changing table on Craigslist for $25! Just need a new paint job and they will be ready. It has been really fun knowing that we are having a little girl- makes the whole thing more real. And it makes it a little easier to bond with her I think.

Quick baby updates:
How I'm feeling: Still good (knock on wood).
Feeling fetal movement: SO MUCH! And I love it! Scott was even able to feel her move a couple of times.
Weight gain so far: 8-9 lbs.
Names: Many... it is more difficult than I thought it would be to name a human. So much pressure!
What I'm most excited for
today: The nursery. I am going into nesting mode for sure and can't wait to get it together!
What I'm most afraid of
today: that I will go into early labor while I'm away on an interview... Trying not to think of that.
Residency update:
I have about 13 interviews set up for all over, but probably won't keep a lot of those just because they are in less ideal places for our growing family (St. Louis, Kansas City, etc.). Still waiting on OHSU!!! C'mon Oregon!
Scott update done by Scott himself:
Well not too much to report with me. I have been given the task of painting the nursery and the nursery furniture (thanks Craigslist!) which has certainly made everything feel very real. Becca has been trying to make me more of a "man" by giving me tasks to do around the house like fix the roof and care about the lawn...maybe she feels our little girl will be too girly?
OSU has been keeping my Saturdays amazing. 4-0 and now ranked #10 in the nation. The PAC 12 channel was a solid investment.
Other than that work has been great as usual. Knowing my lovely wife will be with me during Christmas in likely the last time we can celebrate in Omaha makes me look forward to another busy 4th Quarter in retail!
